 Yesterday I arrived in the middle of the night after a delayed flight in Amsterdam. In front of my hotel in the World Trade Center there stood a bus with pictures of children on it holding their dream drawings. Today I had more time and energy to look at it more in detail. Paint a Future is the initiative of a Dutch artist, Hetty van der Linden, who travels around the world organizing paint clinics with children in less fortunate situations. The children paint their dreams. Hetty makes sure the dream drawings are used as symbols in paintings made by real famous artists. When the paintings are sold, the money is used for a better future of the children.
