I am sorry, I cannot help it. Again a depressing text, this time about child soldiers. I just read a heartbreaking interview by a young woman who was so lucky that her teacher negotiated her freedom after a kidnapping of almost a complete school (140 children) by rebels in Uganda. They finally took 30 children of which only one is still alive today and still with the rebel army. It is inhuman what they make these children do. There are more than 250.000 child soldiers. I support the charity War child since more than 10 years now. This organisation helps children in war situations to handle their trauma’s by using music and dance. This treatment has proven to be successful and hopefully War Child can help more and more children who have lived and survived these cruelties.
