Welcome FlowerChild

Even in Europe there are poor kids without toys, without parents and without enough money to live properly. This new blog is preparing for 16 musical festivals throughout Germany to collect money and goods and help the poor children living in our society. Marketing and Charity go well together. Some companies report huge sales increase because of donations they make to child friendly charities. Some examples. In the Netherlands a film (Wit Licht) was released to promote and support the charity War Child. Coca Cola in Belgium offers, with the promotion ‘Wishmas’, the possibility to send a Christmas wish to your friends and for every wish Coca Cola donates 0,05 eurocents to CliniClowns. Macy’s offers $1,- for every ‘I Believe in Santa’ letter to the Make-a-Wish foundation. And Williams-Sonoma raised an enormous amount of money for the St Judes Children’s Research Hospital among their clients last year and will probably raise at least the same this year. Customers apparently trust in the sincerity of brands that are open to good causes and state up front how much money is going there. Increased attention to both the brand and the charity is a good thing. And as a result will make the life of a lot of children a bit better.
