Parents with healthy children cannot imagine how their lives would change if they had a child with an illness or malfunction. They are very lucky. In the Netherlands, a small country with only 16 million inhabitants and one of the best health systems in the world, there are 400.000 chronically ill little patients. That is 14% of all Dutch children! I was amazed to hear this number when talking with the marketing director of the CliniClowns last Friday. This organization makes children forget about their illness, just for a while, and makes them smile. Not all ill or disabled children can be reached easily and that is why CliniClowns created an online world with the clowns as well: www.neuzenroode.nl. It is an honour for JuniorSenior to add more fun to the world of these children too, by promoting this website in the best possible way.
