Heineken warns parents

Heineken, the worlds biggest beer producer, placed 1/1 page advertisements in the newspapers warning parents that drinking alcohol is dangerous for children under the age of 16. What do you think of that? On the one hand it is great that one of the biggest marketing machines advertises just to inform and in the end sell less. On the other hand they sponsor some of the most popular music festivals where a lot of kids under 16 go to. I have somehow mixed feelings about this. Anyway the ads got a lot of attention and let’s hope it raises parents awareness on their role to protect the children.

Of course for Heineken it is just another great Ad to promote their beer extra. Nice try, too obvious
