Welcome FlowerChild
Ex-colleague and one of the best and most serious researchers in children’s marketing, Simone de Droog, has finished her report on characters and healthy products. She interviewed more than 200 children between 4 and 6 years old. She showed the banana candy with and without characters. And she showed the real bananas with and without characters. For the candy the popularity did not differ a lot. Children love candy anyway. For the real bananas though the banana with the character was significantly more attractive. This is very good news for greeneries and fruit and vegetable departments in the supermarkets. And also parents can make eating fruit more popular by making it nicer and more playful.

I think children love candy anyway
I think is more about how we develop there characters. In this videoclip you wil see a woman giving a kid dress up like a cartoon character a Lolly Pop and a apple. What do you think he going to eat?
