The best ideas pop up when you are away from TV- and comnputer screens. I sometimes think we should regularly hire a hut in the jungle without wifi, and stay a week without every possible electronic distraction. For our children that will be a healing and amazing experience.

Try to convince with reason a 13 year old that she can only spend a max. of 1 hour and not a minimum of 3 hours, on “Facebook” a day, while every 3rd. second a message pops up from 1 of the hundreds of “friends”. So now I have convinced her without any reason. Sometimes you have to go back to the stone age of psychology.

I totally agree. Kids who found their own talents will be much more prepared to maintain in the big world outside! My little daughter just said to me…doing nothing is sometimes fun..then I go dreaming!!
